We have identified an internal project champion who will own the implementation day-to-day

Key department leads (finance, operations, warehouse, etc.) have been told about the project and support it

The internal team can dedicate at least 30–40% of one person's time during the implementation period

We have a realistic target go-live date that is not less than 8 weeks away

Data and process readiness

These 20 items represent the readiness factors that most reliably predict whether an Odoo implementation will go smoothly or run into trouble. They are not invented — they come from the pattern of what we see go wrong in implementations that struggle: missing sponsorship, dirty data, undefined scope, and budgets that did not account for post-go-live support.
